A Reader’s Guide to Ibn Khaldun’s Muqaddimah

Dr. Saheeb Ahmed Kayani is a professional engineer with more than 17 years of experience as an academic and industry consultant. He has a bachelor’s degree in mechatronics engineering, and a master’s and PhD in mechanical engineering.
He has received various international and national honors and awards including Charles Wallace Visiting Fellowship (2014-15), Research Productivity Award (2016-17) as category A scientist, SATHA Innovation Award (2016), 7th FPCCI Achievement Award (2019) from the President of Pakistan, and NUST College of E&ME Best Innovator Award (2020). He is professionally registered with the Engineering Council, UK as a Chartered Engineer, Senior Fellow of the AdvanceHE (formerly Higher Education Academy), UK, and a member of the Institution of Engineers, Pakistan.
Presently, he is a faculty member at the National University of Sciences and Technology, Islamabad.
